PITTSBURGH — A Knoch High School student garnered praise from Point Park University for his writing in the student newspaper.

Point Park's department of journalism and mass communications awarded Johnny Thomaszeski honorable mention in the category for review or column in The Knight Times.

He was involved with the 22nd annual high school journalism competition sponsored by Point Park. Winners received their awards during the department's Spring High School Media Day March 28.
