School children hold successful food drive
Meridian Elementary School and Connoquenessing Elementary School held a food drive Nov. 3 to 7. The goods were donated to the St. Vincent DePaul and Evans City food cupboards. Meridian won a contest by collecting 1,467 cans of food. Connoquenessing collected 1,418 cans.
