GCC choir to sing at statewide event
GROVE CITY - The Grove City College Touring Choir was selected to perform at the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association's conference April 23 in Valley Forge.
Choir director Douglas Browne, professor of music, submitted an audition tape to the association and the group was selected, along with several other choirs, to perform.
The touring choir is a select group of about 40 singers, representing a variety of academic majors. Members tour annually during the week of Easter break and also sing at churches and schools in Western Pennsylvania and at campus events.
The Touring Choir also will travel to White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church in Delaware for a 7:30 p.m. concert April 22.
