SLIPPERY ROCK - Community members are invited to "Polish the Rock" at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Members of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity at Slippery Rock University, the SRU Hunting and Fishing Club, employees of North Country Brewing and volunteers of Slippery Rock Development will clean up dirt and debris from the winter on Main Street.

People should meet the group at the gazebo near Main Street, and are encouraged to bring brooms and shovels. Two dump trucks and garbage bags will be provided.

The group will sweep the sidewalks and parking spaces and pick up trash.
