What's new:The elementary principals and staff are working on activities to expand the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program to include all grades. Center Avenue Elementary will participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.Wireless network was installed at the Northwest, Emily Brittain and Meridian elementary schools. More schools will be added this year. The district added software to track student schedules, attendance and student records. Electronic report cards will be expanded to third grade.

New policies:• Transportation attendance areas.• New policies on HIV infection reflect current law.
