BC3 honors outstanding alumni

BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Community College Alumni Association selected its Distinguished Alumni Award recipients.

The award recognizes former BC3 students who make outstanding contributions in their professions and communities.

The 2009 recipients are

Dr. Kathleen M. Brown,

Dr. Daniel R. Black Jr. and attorney

Joseph E. Kubit.• Brown, a 1983 graduate, is the director of the Donald D. Wolff Jr. Center for Quality Improvement and Innovation of UPMC.• Black, a 1978 graduate, is the medical director of the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.• Kubit, a 1984 graduate, is a partner in the Montgomery, Crissman, Montgomery, Kubit & Petrancosta law firm in Butler.The 2009 BC3 Distinguished Alumni will be recognized at the Oak Hills Legacy Dinner Oct. 17 in Founders Hall on BC3's main campus.
