Russell Dunn

The Rev. Russell Stanley Dunn, 85, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at his home.

Born Oct. 11, 1936, in Hillsdale, Mich., he was the son of the late Clyde Dunn and Ruth (Baxter) Dunn.

After receiving his bachelor's degree from God's Bible School, Russell worked in ministry for the rest of his life. He served churches all across the country. He was an elder in the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Connection, and a member of the Sarver Wesleyan Methodist Church. He spent his life in service to God and to those around him.

Surviving are his loving wife, Judith McCreery Dunn, whom he married Aug. 19, 1959; his brother, Don (Terry) Dunn of Michigan; and his sister, Sharon (Lowell) Jones of Michigan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Forest Dunn.

DUNN — Friends of the Rev. Russell Stanley Dunn, who died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Nathan Troyer and Pastor David Blowers officiating.

Interment will be held at the Zion Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery, Stoneboro.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sarver Wesleyan Methodist Church, 306 Bearcreek Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
