GRADUATES
Abby Schmidt of Mars recently graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.She was a member of the Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau; Freshman Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma; and the Leadership Society, Omicron Delta Kappa.She was a resident assistant for two years and was named RARookie of the Year in 2006. She was chosen as the speaker at the nursing graduation.She has accepted a position at Allegheny General Hospital in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.Schmidt is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of Bill and Kathy Schmidt of Mars.———
<B>Amanda Sloan</B> of Butler recently graduated from Gannon University Villa Maria School of Nursing with a bachelor's degree in nursing.She received the Leadership Scholarship and was named to the dean's list for three semesters.She accepted a position at UPMCPresbyterian.Sloan is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of Robert and Kathleen Sloan of Butler.———
<B>Richard Lee</B> of Prospect recently graduated from Gannon University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He graduated magna cum laude and was named to the dean's list each semester.He plans to pursue a master's of business administration degree at Gannon University.Lee is a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and the son of Sandra Lee of Prospect and the late William "Web" Lee.———<B>Rebecca Rockey</B> of Pittsburgh, formerly of Butler, completed the requirements for a Doctor of Education degree in curriculum and instruction at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.Rockey is the daughter of Mildred O'Neill and the late Richard Jageman Sr. She is a 1987 graduate of Butler High School. She received a fellowship award at IUP.———
<B>Kristin McCune</B> of Butler recently graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics with an education certification. She graduated magna cum laude.McCune was the president of Kappa Mu Epsilon, was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, was named to the dean's list with distinction, was a member of Gamma Sigma Phi, and earned a National Merit Scholarship and the President's Scholarship.She plans to teach math at Freedom High School starting this fall.McCune is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of Ray and Phyllis McCune of Butler.———
<B>Stephen Pichler</B> of Butler recently graduated from Grove City College. He graduated magna cum laude with high honors in biochemistry.Pichler was president of Delta Rho Sigma and was a member of Kemikos Chemistry Honorary and Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honorary.He plans to attend Temple University School of Medicine in the fall.Pichler is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and the son of William and Deborah Pichler of Butler.———

<B>Robert "Bobby" Barkus III</B> of Butler recently graduated from Duquesne University with bachelor's degrees in business administration and finance and investment management.He was named to the dean's list multiple times and earned the Presidential Scholarship.
