Amanda Wilbert

Amanda Wilbert of Butler recently graduated from Edinboro University with bachelor's degrees in forensic accounting and criminal justice. She graduated summa cum laude.Her honors include the Outstanding Senior Award, Outstanding Peer Tutor, dean's list each semester, National Dean's List, Delta Mu Delta Scholar, National Society of Accountants Scholarship and Pennsylvania Institute of CPA's Multi-Year Scholarship and Erie Chapter Scholarship.She was president and newsletter editor for the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society in Business Administration, was treasurer for the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society, was a peer tutor in accounting and served as a student representative for the University Senate Enrollment Management Committee.Wilbert works as an auditor for Belt Harris and Associates in Houston. She is the daughter of Michael and Becky Wilbert of Butler.—-

<B>Ashley Melder</B> of Butler graduated from Robert Morris University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.She was named to the dean's list, traveled to Nicaragua for nursing and was a member of the A.W.O.H.N.N. organization.She works at Magee Women's Hospital in the high risk unit.Melder is a 2004 Butler High School graduate and the daughter of Raymond and Catherine Melder of Butler.—-

<B>Brandon Long</B> of Butler graduated cum laude from Clarion University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa, Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honors Fraternity, the accounting club and the Financial Management Association. He was named to the dean's list and coordinated Special Olympics volunteer events. His scholarships and awards include the Robert C. Byrd Scholarship, Phillips Scholarship, Mathematics Freshman Scholarship and the Clarion University Scholars Award.He is employed as a performance analyst for the Bank of New York Mellon in Pittsburgh.A 2004 graduate of Butler High School, Long is the son of Darrell and Barb Long of Butler.—-

<B>Patrick Hohn</B> of Butler recently graduated cum laude from Clarion University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and communication studies.He was named to the dean's list and was a member of the National Scholars Honor Society.A 2004 Butler High School graduate, Hohn is the son of Shane and Betty Hohn of Butler.—-

<B>George Shannon</B> of Pittsburgh recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a doctor of philosophy degree in material science engineering.He has researched steel/slag interface and has presented findings in South Africa, Spain and multiple national conferences.Shannon has accepted a position with the U.S. Department of Energy in the Fossil Fuel Department.He is a 1994 graduate of Karns City High School, a 1998 graduate of Lehigh University and the son of Don and Mary Shannon of Chicora.—-

<B>Kevin Love</B> of Butler graduated summa cum laude from California (Pa.) University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.His honors include the Alpha Phi Sigma national criminal justice honors society, Phi Gamma Mu international social sciences honors society, University Honors Program and Sigma Alpha Pi national leadership society.Love is employed as a probation officer with Armstrong County Probation and will pursue his master's degree starting this fall.He is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and the son of Charles and Karen Love of Butler.—-

<B>Brian Campbell</B> recently graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in international business.He has accepted a position as worship leader for Hudson Community Chapel in Cleveland, Ohio.He also travels and records with his band, Aevory Nash.He is the son of Chris and Jeanette Campbell of Saxonburg.—-<B>Sarah Ditch</B> graduated cum laude from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in marketing management.During college, she was involved with the Adopt-a-Grandparent program, Ski Club, and WSAJ-FM. She served as a resident assistant and as director of marketing for Stonebridge Concerts.She was on the dean's list and became a member of the Mortar Board National Senior Honor Society. She also served on the special events committee for homecoming and organized spring break mission work trips to Chicago and New Orleans. Sarah completed two successful internships with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and MicroRate, and worked as a photography lab assistant and in the college mail room.She has accepted a position in the marketing and tradeshow planning department of Nextgen Healthcare in Horsham.Ditch is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and the daughter of daughter of Dennis and Kathy Ditch of Butler. Sarah lives in Glenside.
