Catherine Spafford

Catherine Spafford graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science from Allegheny College.She was involved in experimental theater, Women's Ensemble, choir, College Republicans, Circle K, Phi Alpha Delta prelaw academic fraternity, Sigma Tau Delta English academic fraternity and the Allegheny Ambassadors Program. She was also an Alden Scholar, a Who's Who Scholar, was named to the National Dean's List and the National Honor Society. She received the William Schaffer Memorial Scholarship for academic excellence in political science.She has been accepted to Duquesne University School of Law and has been awarded a $10,000 scholarship over three years.Spafford is the daughter of Jim and Jean Spafford of Chicora.—-

<B>Laura Seyler</B> of Cowansville recently graduated summa cum laude from Geneva College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.She was named to Who's Who and was a member of the Alpha Chi honor society and the Spanish Club. She competed in women's cross country, women's track and field, was an NCCAA scholar athlete, a NCCAA national qualifier in the 1500-meeter run and a member of the 4x800 relay team holding Geneva's school record.Seyler recently accepted a teaching position in the Armstrong School District.She is a 2004 Karns City High School graduate and the daughter of Robert and Julia Seyler of Cowansville.—-

<B>Amy Vinarsky</B> of Cranberry Township recently received her bachelor's degree in biology from Rider University.
