GRADUATES
Dr. Doriann Lavery recently graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.While at Jefferson, she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society, the Hobart Amory Hare Honor Society and was awarded the Arthur Krieger memorial Prize in Family Medicine as well as the Pharmacolory Merit Award. She also was a member of the Pathology Honors Program.Lavery graduated from Clarion University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in nursing.She is the daughter of Martin and Cynthia Whitaker of Curwensville and the wife of Nathan Lavery of Butler.She plans to move to Latrobe to complete a family medicine residency at Excela Health/Latrobe Area Hospital.———
Dr. Kara Hust Leslie of Slippery Rock was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown.Leslie is a radiology resident at West Virginia University Hospital.She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Frederick Hust of Butler.
