King Jr. speeds to win at Lernerville Speedway

SARVER — Rex King Jr. took advantage of a blown tire by frontrunner Brian Swatzlander and passed Jim Weller on the final lap to win the Modified feature at Lernerville Speedway late Friday night.

King Jr. led briefly after Swatzlander’s mishap and then made a final-lap push for his second win of the season.

In the Pro Stocks feature, Noah Brunell took advantage of lap traffic and found his way to victory lane for the first time.

Logan Wagner cruised from start to finish in the Sprint feature and wound up with his third win in the last two seasons.

Michael Norris took the lead early from Chad McClellan and cruised in the Late Model feature for his fourth win of the season.
