Frank Zelinka, 93, of Butler passed away peacefully Saturday.

Born Oct. 14, 1922, in Lyndora, he was the beloved husband of the late Rosemary of 66 years; and the loving father to Franklin (Bud) Zelinka and his wife, Pam, and Donna Carver and her husband, Scott, of Highland Heights, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Mike and John Zelinka.

The family gives special thanks to his caregiver, Lori Michaels, who was the greatest blessing to our family these last three years.

Frank served in World War II as an airplane mechanic in Okinawa, where he was awarded a Bronze Star.

He was employed at Armco for 41 years and is a lifelong Elk and VFW member. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
