SLIPPERY ROCK — A total of 275 Slippery Rock University student-athletes — 166 females and 109 males — were recognized as PSAC Scholar-Athletes for the 2021 academic year, the league office announced Wednesday.

PSAC Scholar-Athletes maintain a grade point average above 3.25 for the academic year. More than 80 percent of SRU’s female student-athletes did so, as did 48 percent of the university’s male student-athletes.

The PSAC set a conference record with 4.163 student-athletes — 55 percent of the league — receiving Scholar-Athlete recognition.
