Marian L. Rice, 86, of Harmony died Thursday after a brief illness.

Marian was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Evans City and was the daughter of the late Harry and Frances (Schoeffel) Little.

She married James L. Rice on Sept. 7, 1945, in Evans City.

She is survived by her three sons, James L. (Helen) Rice Jr. of New Kensington, John W. (Donna) Rice of Harmony and Jeffrey L. (Karen) Rice of Fombell; her sister, Loretta Miller of Zelienople; two grandchildren, Jenny Rice of Cheswick and Derek (Rebecca) Rice of Davie, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Brayden of Davie, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James, who died Sept. 19, 2008; her sister, Frances Taylor; and her daughter, Judy A. Rice.

RICE — Services and interment for Marian L. Rice, who died Thursday, July 12, 2012, will be held privately by Marian's family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 219 E.
