Dorothy Rotnour

Dorothy L. Rotnour, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday at North Hills Health and Rehabilitation, Wexford.

Born on July 18, 1922, in Hartstown, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Hazel (Willard) Lane.

Dorothy was a member of the Grace Church of Harmony and worked as an operator for the Bell Telephone Co. She was a receptionist for Sherwood Oaks and also for Halstead Industries for 24 years.

She is survived by her three children, Sherry Buzzard, Vicki Smith and her husband, Ed, and Patti Helgerman and her husband, Mark; her half-brother, Kenneth Lane; her sister, Shirley Kline and her husband, Roy; her stepsister, Erma Eppinger and her husband, Roy; her half-sister, Martha Spencer of Colorado; and her five grandchildren, Jennifer Schoeffel, Abby Elsess, Emily Helgerman, Kristen Helgerman and Joshua Helgerman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur A. “Ferd” Rotnour Jr., who passed away on Nov. 29, 2010; her brother; one sister; one stepsister; her grandson, Eric Smith; and her grandson-in-law, Brett Elsess.

Rotnour— Services for Dorothy L. Rotnour, who passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, will be private by her family.She will be laid to rest at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
