Local communities will hold egg hunts this month. The following egg hunts are scheduled:

• 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sugar Creek Rest, 120 Lakeside Drive, Worthington. Hunt is for toddlers to 10-year-olds. Take a basket or bag. Hunt includes prizes. For more information, call 724-445-3000 or visit sugarcreekrest.com.

• 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sarver Free Methodist Church, 513 Sarver Road, Sarver. Annual Easter egg hunt is at 5 p.m., a meatless spaghetti dinner is at 6 p.m., and a live auction follows dinner. Children under age 3 are free. For more information, call 412-352-4514.

• 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 29 and 30, Victory Family Church, 21150 Route 19, Cranberry Township. Events at the 2013 Eggstravaganza include 90,000 candy-filled eggs to hunt, huge inflatable rides and games, a new puppet show, local fire companies, balloon artists, temporary tattoos, giveaways and local food vendors, as well as return visits from the Easter Bunny and Storybook Princesses. • 10 a.m. to noon March 30, Christ Community Fellowship, 160 Singleton Road, Sarver. Event includes prizes, games, crafts, picnic lunch and story time.

• 10 a.m. March 30, Westminster United Presbyterian Church, 210 Westminster Road, Sarver. This hunt for children includes crafts, games and a light lunch. For more information, call 724-352-1376.

• 11 a.m. March 30, Upper Alameda Park. Hosted by Community Life Church, the “Kidz Great Eggaventure Egg Hunt” includes 14,000 candy-filled eggs for nursery, preschool and elementary age children, the Easter bunny, face painting, petting zoo and bake sale.
