In loving memory of our dear mom, Doris L. Cook Barger.

There isn’t a day that passes

That we don’t think of you

Sometimes memories make us smile

But we can’t lie, it’s true

Now that it is Mother’s Day

There isn’t any cheer.

It just seems to emphasize

The fact that you are not here.

We would love to give you flowers

And not place them on your grave.

If only we could stem our tears

Try hard to be brave.

We feel lost and lonely

But we have been so lucky too

We were blessed we had you as our Mom

For there will never be another you.
