McFeely jumper hands SRU women weekend sweep
Amber McFeely scored on a jump shot with 38 seconds remaining to give the Slippery Rock University women's basketball team a 58-57 win over Kutztown State Sunday afternoon.
McFeely scored just four points, but also had 10 assists.
It was the second one-point victory in as many days for The Rock, which beat West Chester 51-50 Saturday.
Kristen Bonner scored a game-high 20 points. She was 5-of-10 from 3-point range.
KellyAnn Staudinger, the hero in Saturday's win with a layup at the buzzer, scored six points and had six rebounds off the bench for The Rock (8-8).
