Marlin Frank Ruffaner

Marlin Frank Ruffaner, 80, of Worthington, died Friday, March 5, 2021, at his residence.

He was born July 11, 1940, in North Buffalo Township, and was the son of the late Frank V. and Freda A. (Knappenberger) Ruffaner.

Marlin was a truck driver for UPS, and was a member of Faith Cathedral.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, and hunting, tinkering in the garage, operating heavy equipment, traveling and camping.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, M. Jean (Wible) Ruffaner of Worthington; his daughter, Jeanie (Bob) Schall of Ravenna, Ohio; his son, Clifford (Rhonda) Ruffaner of Butler; his granddaughters, Heather (Geoffrey) Urbanek of Streetsboro, Ohio, Amanda Schall of Ravenna, Ohio, Kiley (Ian) Jewart of Butler, and Kara Ruffaner of Butler; his grandsons, Jason Schall of Diamond, Ohio, Matthew (Amber) Stitt of Ford City, and Kurtis (fiancée Kala) Ruffaner of Butler; his five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Martha (Harry) Tribby of New Wilmington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth W. Ruffaner.

RUFFANER — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family of Marlin Frank Ruffaner, who died Friday, March 5, 2021, will hold a private visitation and service with the Rev. Neil Reedy officiating.Burial will be in Worthington Lutheran Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of F.
