Robert, Patrick and I would like to thank the Butler, Penn Township and Saxonburg communities for the out pouring of love, warmth and kindness during this painful time in our lives.

The whole town came together to help us grieve over the loss of our beloved son, Timothy.

Ours is a beautiful community that values the connections we have with one another.

Thinking over the past few months it has occurred to me how lucky we have been to have shared Tim’s life with you and even more lucky to have raised our children in this caring supportive community.

I cherished all aspects of motherhood, from lunch monitor, snack-maker, booster club, PTO member and ticket seller at football/basketball games.

I encourage all parents to be involved. It is the only way to grow with your child and share friendships. I loved each and all of my sons friends, as if they were my own children.

I believe in the following proverb that “It takes a whole village to raise a child.”

Thank you for being this community and as Tim would say “Where I come from, we look out for one another.”
