The family of Richard “Tank” Boarts wishes to extend their appreciation and gratitude to all who have helped us through this time of mourning by their cards, condolences, visits, provisions and prayer.

We have been surrounded by friends and we have been comforted by the love and concern shown to us.

Thank you to Bob Welch and Mike Heilman who carefully attended to our requests; to the Armstrong County American Legion Honor Guard for their excellence in the performance of their duties; and especially to the entire staff at the Butler VA Community Living Center who treated Richard with dignity and respect as they cared for him with such compassion and love this past year.
