Vernon 60th anniversary
Dick and Danna Vernon will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a dinner for immediate family over Labor Day weekend.
Vernon married the former Danna Lewis on Aug. 31, 1954, in Frewsburg, N.Y.
They have six children, Daniel (Shirley) Vernon of Butler, Glenn (Claudia) Vernon of Loganton, Cindy (Vince) Vinay of Valencia, Calif., Garry (Debbie) Vernon of Rochester, N.Y., Sue Peach Vernon of Sebring, Fla., and Sherry (Scott) Chrystal of Pittsburgh.
They also have 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Vernons are retired business owners. Together they host Danna’s Radio Diner Show. The couple has a lifelong passion for country music and are members of Good News Country and Gospel Band.
The Vernons are members of North Main Street Church of God.
