Diana and Thomas Hollefreund

Thomas W. and Diana K. Hollefreund of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner in Butler. They also celebrated at a surprise party at the Elks with family and friends that included a performance by Chris Denim.

Hollefreund married the former Diana DeSantis on Jan. 22, 1965, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Butler.

They have three children, Tom, Brian and Eric, all of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Hollefreund retired from Armco/AK Steel Butler Works in 2002.

He enjoys car cruises and taking his 1923 T/Bucket to car cruises.

Mrs. Hollefreund is an administrative assistant at Ron West Agency in Butler.

She is a Neil Diamond fan and enjoys card games, especially Shanghai.
