Mary Jean and Raymond Richter

Raymond and Mary Jean Richter of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Richter married the former Mary Jean Kress on Feb. 13, 1965, in Pittsburgh.

They have three children, Christopher J. Richter of Butler, Kathleen Richter of Butler and Amy Burd of San Diego.

They also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Richter is a mechanic.

Mrs. Richter is employed at Sheetz.

The Richters are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
