Motorcyclist transported by LifeFlight
Drivers traveling between Butler and Armstrong counties had to take County Line Road to cross counties after a motorcycle crashed into a passenger vehicle Monday at about 4:40 p.m.
A LifeFlight helicopter landed on Route 422 to transport the motorcyclist, a man, from near the Lick-N-Putt parking lot to Allegheny General Hospital. No other injuries were recorded on scene.
Firefighters rerouted all traffic on Route 422 onto County Line Road before reopening the main road at about 7 p.m.
No update on the condition of the motorcyclist was available at press time.
State police, East Butler Volunteer Fire Department, East Butler Ambulance Service and Herman Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene.
