A pedestrian was flown to an area hospital with injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Moraine Pointe Plaza in Butler Township on Friday.

Two pedestrians were reportedly struck, but one was flown after the incident at 2 p.m. A landing zone for a medical helicopter was set up at the Regal Cinemas to transport the injured person.

Butler Township police and fire departments responded along with Butler Ambulance Service.
