Moniteau pitcher Hunter Fitzingo tossed a three-inning no-hitter Monday afternoon in a 15-0 win over A-C Valley at Kelly Automotive Park. The Warriors are on quite a run during an 11-game winning streak.

There are winning streaks, then there is domination.

There is domination, then there is other-worldly.

Moniteau's varsity baseball team has risen into that third category this spring.

The Warriors' 15-0, three-inning victory over A-C Valley Monday at Kelly Automotive Park marked their 11th consecutive win. In only one of those games — Friday's 8-2 triumph over Keystone — did they have to play more than five innings.

“Those boys have been playing ball together for a while and they have a strong hunger to win,” Moniteau athletic director John Stoughton said. “They keep getting better because they are so dedicated.

It shows.

Consider the following:

Moniteau has outscored its opponents 152-6 during its current winning streak.

The Warriors' team batting average is .399 and none of the starters are hitting below .330. The team's earned run average is 1.81.

Eight players on the team have collected 10 or more RBI. Seven players have scored 10 or more runs. The team's on-base percentage is .513.

Moniteau pitchers have struck out 108 and walked 35 in 65.2 innings pitched.

Monday's win came despite regular starters Wyatt Geibel, Nick and Nate Sosigian away on senior trips. They are hitting .412, .432 and .333, respectively.
