Eva M. Stahlman Libecco
Eva M. Stahlman Libecco, 80, of East Brady died at 11:50 p.m. Sunday in the Chicora Medical Center following a lingering illness.
She was co-owner and operator of the D. & E. Fabric Shop at Kepples Corners for four years. She did delivery work for H.K. Delivery out of Pittsburgh and worked for the Hills Department Store in Butler when the store opened and as the head of the domestic department for 20 years. She then worked for the Ames Department Store in Butler as a clerk and stocked shelves until her retirement.
She was a 55-year member of the Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, now the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, was a member of the Lutheran Church Women, served on the church council and was active in various other organizations in the church. She taught Sunday school and Bible school in the church.
Born Oct. 14, 1931, in Bradys Bend Township, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J. Seybert and Matilda C. “Tillie” Schultz Seybert.
She was married to Frank Stahlman for 20 years until his death in 1969.
She is survived by her present husband, John Libecco, who she married in 1971; her daughters, Susan and Ronald Libecco of Karns City and Jacqueline Jack of Chicora; sons, William F. and Esther Stahlman of Chicora, James M. Stahlman and his companion, Vaunda Barnhart, of Chicora, Daniel T. and Donna Stahlman of Chicora and Wade J. Libecco and his companion, Carrie Rideing, of Chicora; stepson, Jeffrey and Sherry Libecco of Butler; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Seybert and Harmon Seybert, and her sisters, Verna Early, Thelma Vogt and Donna Beggs Grinder.

Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora.Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora, with funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph Boomhower, pastor, officiating.
