Butler Shade Tree Commission members and volunteer arborist Jennifer Senchak are pruning trees on Main Street at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Most of the trees being trimmed were planted in 2004. Residents wishing to join the effort and learn about the city’s trees and trimming trees should meet commission members at the City Building. People wishing to participate can bring battery powered reciprocating saws, hand saws, pole pruners, eye protection and hard hats.
