Scialabba

Joseph N. Scialabba, 57, passed away at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, after a three-year battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 11, 1964, in Butler.

Joseph graduated from Butler High School in 1983, and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State in 1987.

He worked for Prime Metals for 18 years.

Joseph enjoyed Star Wars, Marvel, cats, telling dad jokes, rock ‘n’ roll, cheering on his daughters at their cross-country track meets, tennis matches, musicals and plays, and watching football, especially the Steelers.

He is survived by his partner, Maria Scialabba; four daughters, Nicole, Christina, Josie and Veronica Scialabba; his parents, Nickolas and Shirley Scialabba; three siblings, Anthony Scialabba (Shirley), Elizabeth Menninger and Jeanine Sample (Mike); and by many nieces and nephews.

SCIALABBA — The family of Joseph N. Scialabba, who died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, will welcome friends to join them from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday with Mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 5545 Opal St., North Ridgeville, Ohio. Father George Vrabel will celebrate the Mass.

Burial will be held at Ridgeville Cemetery.
