Mars Area School District will join in the fight against breast cancer as part of its annual “Hats for Heroes” fundraiser on Oct. 23 to benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Pennsylvania.

As part of the event, students will be asked to make a donation in return for the opportunity to wear a hat in school Oct. 23. Checks may be made payable to “Susan G. Komen.”
