Lloyd Dean Ifft
Lloyd Dean Ifft, 84, of Butler passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 5, 2021, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he had been a resident.
Born Feb. 6, 1936, in Butler, he was the son of the late Floyd and Esther Mahala McCandless.
He was Baptist by faith.
Lloyd worked on his farm, where he was a dairy and potato farmer. He also worked as a dishwasher at Eat’n Park, and was a custodian at Slippery Rock University.
He enjoyed gardening, puzzles and word searches.
He is survived by his children, Beverly Fox of Springdale, Robert Ifft of Butler, Gordon Ifft of Springdale, Nancy Ifft of Butler, and Roger (Becky) Ifft of Butler; three grandchildren, Richard (Laura Lindgren) Piper, Aaden Ifft and Jacob Ifft; three great- grandchildren, Shayne Lindgren, Kayden Piper and Trysten Piper; and two sisters, Linda Nye of Portersville, and Donna Dickey of Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Margaret Bell Ifft, whom he married Jan. 11, 1957, and who died Feb. 25, 2017.
IFFT — A private visitation and funeral for Lloyd Dean Ifft, who died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, will be held at Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 387 Main St., Prospect, with the Rev. Ben Oesterling of Mount Zion Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
