Bryan J. Bastian

Bryan J. “Bubba” Bastian, 68, of Saxonburg passed away on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at his home.

Born Aug. 4, 1953, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Elmer J. Bastian and Beaulah Wetzel Bastian.

Bryan was the owner of Bryan's Heating & A/C and had also worked for the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad as a machine operator. He was a member of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church, a life member Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Parison Bastian, whom he married Oct. 11, 1986; two daughters, Samantha (Robert) Bennett of Saxonburg and Melodie (Benjamin) Wile of Woodbury; two brothers, Larry (Patty Stevenson) Wetzel of Parrish, Fla., and Jeffrey (Beverly) Bastian of Bruin; and three grandchildren Owen, Anna and Eli.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Beatrice White and Deborah George; and one brother, Ralph Bastian.

Bastian — Friends of Bryan J. “Bubba” Bastian, who died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg, with the Rev. Mark Allio officiating.

Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
