Morning crash
No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, near the intersection of Arrowhead Drive and New Castle Road, according to emergency responders. Assistant Chief Ryan Hanchoski of Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team said that accident occurred as one vehicle, a PT Cruiser, pulled out of Arrowhead Drive and in front of a Honda sedan, which hit the cruiser’s driver’s side. Hanchoski said both drivers are Slippery Rock residents; their names were not immediately available. Both drivers refused medical treatment at the scene, Hanchoski said. Firefighters were on scene for about an hour. State police also responded to the accident.
