Brown, Schoeffel team for victory

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Stranger Things — trained by Steve Schoeffel of Evans City and driven by Brady Brown of Slippery Rock — rallied from worst to first to attain victory Friday during harness racing action at The Meadows.

The 5-year-old gelding won a $5,700 Conditioned Claiming Pace at 13-1 odds. The horse is owned by Virginia and Kathy Schoeffel, both of Evans City, and James Reuther.

Sleepin In The Sun, at 16-1 odds, won a $5,700 Conditioned Claiming Pace. Nathan Bresnahan of Butler trains the horse.
