Susan C. Smieszek

Susan C. (Kramer) Smieszek, 66, of Kittanning, formerly of Butler, passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at ACMH Hospital in Kittanning.

She was born Oct. 14, 1955, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter to the late Alvin and Dolores (Fitzpatrick) Kramer.

She worked at Lou Negley Bottled Water for 20 years. Susan loved spending time with her grandchildren and planting her flowers.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Stephen H. Smieszek of Kittanning; son, Stephen M. (Mallory) Smieszek of Kittanning; four grandchildren, Hayley Smieszek, Kylie Smieszek and Henry “Ollie” Smieszek, all of Kittanning, and Morgan Ross of Sarver; brothers, Ron (Roberta) Kramer of North Carolina and Michael (Mary) Kramer of Texas; and sister, Kathy (Jim) Powers of Valencia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lesley A. Smieszek; sister, Nancy Kramer; and brother, Thomas Kramer.

Smieszek — Friends of Susan C. (Kramer) Smieszek, who died Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning with Pastor Jimmy Edwards, officiating.
