Zesta Shankle, 45, of Cowansville, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, following a lingering illness.

She was born Oct. 31, 1976, in Butler, the daughter of Thomas Ealy Sr. and Barbara Snow.

She worked in home health care for Gray’s Colonial Manor for six years.

She enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Andrew Venafra (Nicole) of Spaces Corners, Kittanning, Riley Shankle of Petrolia and Kody Shankle of York, Pa.; two grandchildren, Everleigh Venafra and Adaleigh Venafra; three brothers and five sisters; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; her parents, Thomas Ealy Sr. (Beth Ann) of Petrolia and Barbara (Martin) McDonough of Sewell, N.J.; and a constant companion and caregiver, Jeff Shankle of Cowansville.

SHANKLE — Private graveside prayers and interment for Zesta Shankle, who died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, will be held in Bear Creek Cemetery with the Rev. John Pistorius officiating.
