Heyl

Lawrence W. "Bill" Heyl, 90, of Cabot, passed away on Feb. 1, 2022, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born March 13, 1931, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Lawrence and Elizabeth Devlin Heyl.

Bill was a self-employed carpenter, owning his own construction business and mentoring many in his trade.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, where he had been a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He enjoyed bowling, golf and watching all sports.

Surviving are his wife, Helen (Gehringer) Heyl, whom he married Oct. 27, 1951; his daughter, Beth (David) Kriberney of Butler; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Eric, Joyce, Jessica, Julie, Michael and Dannaye; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Gary Heyl; and his daughter, Kathy Meyers.

HEYL — There will be no visitation for Lawrence W. "Bill" Heyl, who died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
