On Thursday, Patricia Marlene Kriebel had the best 80th birthday. She was escorted into Heaven by the loving arms of Jesus. She was greeted by her husband, Quay, and her son, Rick, with their contagious smiles. Pat passed peacefully at home in Butler.

She was born May 5, 1936, in Piney Township, Clarion County, the daughter of Grant and Marie (Downs) Myers.

She married Quay Richard Kriebel of Sligo, Pa., Nov. 26, 1954. They were married almost 56 years. They enjoyed being together so much that one was rarely seen without the other. Together they shared love of their family, devotion to their faith and the joy of snowmobiling and camping. They had resided in Butler since 1963.

Patricia was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had enjoyed being a teacher's aide for many years helping those with learning disabilities. Later in life, she worked alongside her husband, owning rental properties, a dry cleaner and a Laundromat.

She was a member of North Main Street Church of God, WCG, Keenagers Sunday School Class and taught many Bible studies. She was an Eastern Star, member of the Maqueda Chapter #421 Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Dan Fenstermaker, and her daughter-in-law, Barb Kriebel, all from Butler.

Pat's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Jason Daniel Fenstermaker, Ryan Quay Fenstermaker, Michele Lynn Kriebel and Rebecca Marlene (Jason) Bissonnette. Her great grandchildren are Jewelee and Lilee Hooks and Remington and GraceLynne Ann Myers. She is also survived by her brothers and their wives, Rev. Robert and Ellen Myers, and Jack and Ann Myers, and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Quay, who passed away Oct. 10, 2010; and her son, Richard Quay Kriebel, who passed away April 7, 2003.

The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Home Health, Palliative and Hospice Care for their kind, supportive and loving compassionate care.
