Supervisors approved a number of items Monday night, including:
- Conforming use for a property at 100 Park Ave. to allow the property to operate with a business and apartment
- Plans for the Shell station and convenience store in the Whitetail Meadows development along Scharberry Lane, contingent on changes for Aster Way coming before the planning commission
- A property line correction for the Cole property along Marburger Road to add 63 feet of land
- Reapproval for the Howell property plan, which subdivides about 65 acres along Dobson Road into four parcels
- Extending the open-burning ban another two weeks, with the exception of recreational fires; fireworks are temporarily banned
- A resolution to extend the sewer system to Franklin Acres along Raupp Lane in Cranberry Township, allowing Cranberry residents to become customers of Breakneck Creek Regional Authority and Cranberry to cover sewage extension costs
- Buying 10 laptops for $17,198 to allow staff to work from home, with potential reimbursement via COVID-19 relief programs
- Buying 27 trees for $14,476 to be planted along Parkford Drive
- Condemning the Wygal property in preparation for a sales agreement, which will expand the township park
- Finalizing a contract for the Wygal property
- A $14,800 contract with Aiken Concrete Construction for installing the ADA sidewalk in the destination playground
- Conducting a routine audit of township finances at the board's discretion following the retirement of treasurer Janet Lubbert
- Appointing Darryl Brandon to the zoning hearing board, with Ed Unger as an alternate hearing board member.
