Lydia Jamison
Lydia A. (Krelow) Jamison, 94, formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at her home in Smyrna, Ga.
Lydia was an active member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, where she served on the Vestry, Altar Guild and Episcopal Church Women. She retired from the Veterans Affairs in 1994 after working for the VA Hospital system for more than 26 years.
Lydia is survived by her three children, Lynda (Joseph) Swaney of Smyrna, Ga., Lyle D. (Lisa) Jamison of Orlando, Fla., Lee E. (Ruth) Jamison of Moneta, Va., along with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Lydia is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas M. and Frances Krelow, original owners of the Beacon Hotel in Renfrew, as well as five siblings.
Jamison — A private memorial service for Lydia A. (Krelow) Jamison, who died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, will be held in Springdale, Pa. followed by interment at Springdale Cemetery.
Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna is in charge of arrangements.
