Karen A. (Moore) George
Karen A. (Moore) George, 59, of Buffalo Township passed away Wednesday at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh after being ill for the past four years.
She was born Nov. 27, 1959, in Rochester, N.Y.
She lived most of her life in Buffalo Township, where she was a supervisor for personal care homes for a number of years: Rosebrook in Buffalo Township and Outlook Pointe in Saxonburg.
Karen was of the Catholic faith and a graduate of Freeport High School.
She enjoyed spending time in her swimming pool.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jay A. George; her daughters, Mindy S. (Brian) Beacom of Frazer Township, and Kristen L. (Matthew Pugh) George of Freeport; and her grandchildren, Shawn Beacom, Gage Beacom, Madison McPeak, Michael Beacom and Mackenzie Pugh.
GEORGE — Visitation for Karen A. (Moore) George, who died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Saturday in Duster Funeral Home, 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, with the Rev. Robert B.
