Bishop visits for Catholic Schools Week
Bishop David Zubik is spending time in Butler County this week in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. Today, he was at St. Wendelin School in Oakland Township, the oldest school in the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese, and will visit students at Holy Sepulcher Catholic School, Middlesex Township, on Friday. “I'd like to suggest … you and I need to give each other a peer pressure for virtue,” he said Tuesday during a visit to Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School in Cranberry Township. “We need to encourage each other by the example we give in the words we speak and how we speak them; in the actions that we do and how we do them; in the example that is a genuine part of your life and mine.”
