EAST BRADY — The Armstrong Rails to Trails Association and the Allegheny Valley Land Trust are teaming up in May to hold their sixth fundraising event.

The walk/ride event, which also is a scavenger hunt, will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 20 at the Nautical Mile Campground at 530 Stone Ave. in Templeton. Participants can start any time after 9 a.m., and will receive fruit and water at the starting point. A barbecue ribs lunch will be served at noon, when musical entertainment also will be provided. Vegetarian and kid-friendly menu choices also will be available.

Registrations are due by May 13. All proceeds will be used for trail development.
