OAKLAND TWP — Three people suffered apparent minor injuries in a head-on crash on Route 38 near the Oneida Valley Dam in the township.

A husband and wife, who were in a Honda Accord, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, state police said. The driver in a Hyundai Santa Fe was checked out by medics at the scene.

Police said the collision occurred around 1:20 p.m. when the driver in the southbound sport utility vehicle turned at Hohn Farm Road in front of the car headed north.

Oneida Valley volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene. Traffic was slowed to one lane around the crash before both lanes reopened around 2:10 p.m.
