Cubs boxer Wolfe wins by TKO
MONROEVILLE — Butler Cubs boxer Wyatt Wolfe improved his amateur record to 3-0 with a technical knockout of Pittsburgh's Bason Switala Sunday at the Doubletree Hotel in Monroeville.
The fight was stopped 1:16 into the first round after Wolfe, 12, knocked his opponent down. Switala had received a standing-8 count 30 seconds into the bout.
