Suspect ID'd in theft; 2 other cases probed
CRANBERRY TWP — A suspect has been identified after township police posted photos from the alleged crime on social media last week.
On Monday, police identified Robert Drewry, 52, of Buffalo, N.Y., as the individual who is accused of stealing wallets and phones from the fitness center at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. A warrant was obtained for his arrest, and the department has joined with other agencies to locate Drewry. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the department at 724-776-5180, Ext. 5. Police warnresidents not to approach Drewry if they see him.
Meanwhile, police continue their search for suspects in two other cases.In one incident, two men are suspected of stealing power tools from Lowe's in December.
In another incident, a man with glasses is suspected of attempting to steal a shopping cart full of merchandise from the Cranberry Walmart. He was last seen fleeing the parking lot in an older red Jeep Cherokee with a male accomplice.
