Mary Ann Smith

Mary Ann Smith, 83, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Sept. 7, 1937, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Herb and Delphina Reott Zensen.

Mary was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Warren A. Smith, whom she married on Sept. 15, 1962; two children, Janet Peters and her husband, Jeff, of Grabill, Ind., and Jason Smith; four grandchildren, Andrew Peters and his wife, Hillary, Corbet Peters and his wife, Becky, Faith Peters and her fiancé, Matt Cosby and Justin Peters; and five great-grandchildren, Blake, Emma, Caleb, Lorelai and Kyle.

SMITH — There was no visitation for Mary Smith, who died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020.

The Mass of Christian burial was celebrated privately.

Burial took place in St. Mary Cemetery in Herman.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
