Rebecca “Becky” Sue Kennedy Williams
Rebecca “Becky” Sue Kennedy Williams, 65, of Portersville, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021, peacefully and comfortably with her family by her side.
Born May 8, 1956, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late James N. Forrester and Betty Lou Raub Forrester.
A nurturer by nature, Rebecca will be remembered for the many ways in which she cared for her family and friends. From her unforgettable orange cookies to the equally unforgettable handmade Christmas accessories she would outfit the entire family in, she showed her love through her actions daily. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, and will always be fondly remembered for the love she put into everything she did.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Rodney Williams; her children, Amanda Kennedy of Winter Park, Fla., Steven Kennedy of Butler, and Christopher Waggett of Butler; her stepdaughters, Shannon Stehle and Jessica Smith; her grandchildren, Kiara Kennedy, Izabella Crowley; several stepgrandchildren; her sisters, Susan E. (Francis) Varner, Karen (David) French, and Melissa (James D. Rekich) Koebler, all of Butler; and her first husband and good friend, Dale W. Kennedy.
WILLIAMS — Friends of Rebecca “Becky” Sue Kennedy Williams, who died Thursday, May 20, 2021, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Boylan Funeral Home, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Rebecca will be laid to rest privately at the White Oak Springs Cemetery in Renfrew.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
